By the end of 2011, New York Life Retirement Plan Services (“New York Life”) will enhance mylife.newyorklife.com, the website for your retirement plan.
The improvements to the “My Investments” section of the site will help you:

  • Get connected with investing resources — When it comes to investing, do you want someone else to help you make decisions? Or are you more of a do-it-yourselfer? Whatever your approach, a new “slider” tool will help you get connected with relevant investing resources. To find the slider, look for the box shown to the right.
  • Make changes faster and easier — If you’re looking to make an investment change, you’ll find streamlined transaction screens. Want to change how your future contributions will be invested? Or how your current balance is invested? Or change both at the same time? The upcoming enhancements will make it easier to get in, get out, and get on with your life.
  • Get help along the way — Look for new tips and double-checks that can help answer your questions. New links will bring you to more information without interrupting your change process, and confirmation screens will let you review your changes before making a final decision.

Please call ahead of time to schedule an appointment with whom you need to see.

The Benefit Office receives the negotiated contributions sent to us by your contractors or other Locals. These contributions are what determine your eligibility for Health and Welfare and Retirement benefits. Each quarter that you work, you will receive a statement from the Benefit Office with your hours worked and contributions received. It is important that you keep your check stubs to make sure that all of your contributions are being reported correctly. In the event of an error or question, please call the Fund office.
